Over three decades, Osburn/Clarke has completed over 100 custom homes, cabins, and recreational properties on the west coast of Canada and beyond. Each project is an investigation into creating a sensitive and site-specific design that enhances the inherent qualities of often remote and challenging landscapes.

Born and raised on the west coast, Mark has never been far from the sea and wilderness. Following graduation, he worked for a number of years as a commercial fisherman and pursuing other ventures including Basho Demolition, an early recycling company. Before founding Osburn/Clarke, he was the design director of Habitat Forum '76 at Jericho Beach, and an exhibit design director of the BC Pavilion at Expo '86. With an unparalleled knowledge of the coast, Markís expertise lies in the siting and design of buildings in challenging coastal landscapes.

With a Masters in Architecture from Dalhousie University, she worked on a number of residential projects in both Vancouver and Iran prior to joining Osburn/Clarke in 2012. Besh brings a detail-oriented approach to design, and enjoys working closely with builders and consultants to resolve specific building challenges.
